The Stihl MSA 160 C-B is the first battery chainsaw in Stihl's professional range of battery chainsaws. The MSA 160 can used with any of Stihl's professional batteries including the AP 100, AP 200, AP 300 and AP 300S. We would recommend using this chainsaw with the AP 300 or AP 300 S which will give you up to 1 hour of run time. This chainsaw is best suited to felling of smaller trees, cutting firewood and general pruning. The chainsaw is very quiet and can be used without ear protection. The MSA 160 battery chainsaw is packed with features including Stihl's Swiss made 1/4" chain for fine cutting and excellent cutting performance, a 12" bar, quick tool-less chain tensioning, Stihl Ematic chain lubrication system for maximum lubrication, longer wear and reduced chain oil consumption. Best of all this chainsaw is only 3.1 kg and has an exceptional power to weight ratio.
