Powered by Makita's 40V batteries paired with a brushless motor provides a max of 1.0KW of power output. Smart features include a 3 stage speed controller, Automatic Torque Drive technology which increases torque under load and Active Feedback Technology which protects the user against kickback.
The unit is IPX4 Rated.
Compatible with nylon line, metal & plastic blades.
The 3 stage speed control + variable speed throttle allows for operation in all types of conditions with the brushless motor capable of delivering up to 7,000rpm.
